3rd Meier Symposium – On the conservation of endangered chelonians

Liebe Schildkrötenfreunde,

mehrere Jahre nach den erfolgreichen ersten und zweiten Meier-Symposien ist es nun Zeit für das dritte Meier Symposium, zu dem ich euch hiermit herzliche einlade.

Am 18. Oktober 2023 wurde im Allwetterzoo nicht nur ein neuer Teil des ArtenschutzCampus eröffnet, der jetzt auch wieder Einblicke in das IZS möglich macht und wo Schildkröten ein thematischer Aufhänger sind – es war auch der Tag, an dem das IZS 20 Jahre alt wurde. Auch das möchten wir mit euch feiern.

Dear turtle friends,

several years after the successful first and second Symposiums, it is now time for the third Meier Symposium, to which I hereby warmly invite you.

On October 18, 2023, not only was a new part of the ConservationCampus opened in the Allwetterzoo, which now also allows insights into the IZS again and where turtles are a thematic focus – it was also the day on which the IZS turned 20 years old. We would like to celebrate that with you too.
